AO Safety 91264 Professional Chemical Splash Goggle AO Safety 91264 Professional Chemical Splash Goggle

Nothing fancy about these goggles. They're decent anti-fog chemical splash goggles that are accommodating of certain minimalistic eyeglasses and they seem to do a good job of keeping the liquids out. I use my pair primarily for doing work around the lawn when spraying chemicals of various sorts that you don't want backspraying into your eyeballs. Not sure I could have found anything better for a ten-spot.

I bought this goggle for my college chem lab. I have to say, it did the job well. It never fogged up on me, even when I wore it for 3 hours straight. It was able to fit over my glasses well. My only dislike was that the elastic bands go directly over the top of the ear and it can be uncomfortable. I was able to mitigate this by rotating the band so that the thick part was resting on the ear rather than the sharp edge. Other than that, these were great!

I work in a chemistry lab and wear goggles anywhere from four to twelve hours a day, five to six days a week. Common splash goggles become uncomfortable after a few hours, so I decided to try a few better quality goggles. I wear glasses. On the plus side, these AO Safety goggles are comfortable. The single-piece lens is flexible and exhibits very little distortion. The goggles readily conform to the face, make a good seal, and are plush. The strap appears durable. On the minus side, the lens is tinted, the goggles are heavy, the lens pushes against my glasses, and they emit a horrific odor. Although the lens is obviously high quality, it is tinted. The tinting is subtle, but became more obvious as time went by. The goggles are obviously intended for working in a chemical hazard environment. Most such environments are indoors, so there's really no logic to the tint. It's not dark enough for full sun protection, and diminishes the apparent indoor light. Compared to other goggles, they are heavy. The strap keeps them well positioned, as does the seal they make to the face. But, after a few hours of wear, they become wearisome from the weight pulling on the face. The goggles' ability to conform to the face makes them unsuitable for glasses wearers. The edges of the goggles take a sharp turn around the temples. The arms of my glasses contact the lens, forcing the glasses into the bridge of my nose; I don't have big glasses. There are cut outs for the arms of glasses which are readily removed with an hobby knife. These glasses stink. After removing the goggles I could smell the chemicals that leached from their manufacture. This odor remained with me for two to three hours. Whatever is causing the odor cannot be good for the health. Also, as a chemist, odors are one clue that something bad is in the air. Since the odor from the goggles was so overpowering, the inability to smell lab chemicals is a safety hazard. I cannot say whether or not they are fog proof or fog resistant. The lab is kept air-conditioned. I can see why some occasional goggle users would like these, especially if the use is for periods less than one hour. For full-time lab workers, they are not suitable.

Great fitting protection while wearing hard hat and has a good quality clear lens.. I recomend them..

The goggle works great as described and as it's intended to be used. The lenses are 100% anti-fog, that is for sure, but ventilation is bad. 2 minutes and my prescription glasses would fog up and I'd have to remove the goggle for 5 seconds to get clear visibility, and this is why I rated it 4. It's NOT comfy as not wearing, that's for sure, but this is what you get for a well-secure goggle (although can be improved). Overall, as an amateur, I'm very glad about this product.

I use them for steam punk costuming and they're awesome. Plus on sunny days they make decent sunglasses =)

I bought these goggles and Hobart 770096 Welding Oxy-Acetylene Goggle - 50mm Eye Cup, figuring that one would be better than the other for a passive infrared goggle project. However, what I found was the both pairs were identical in every way -- right down to the markings from the injection molding machine and the blue stripes in the elastic band. The only difference is that the Hobart goggles come with more packaging (a hard plastic box) while the US Forge goggles come in a sealed printed plastic bag. As goggles go, they are perfectly usable although not overly comfortable. The eye-to-eye spacing is adjustable with a beaded chain (if you shorten it, cut the tails so you don't bonk yourself in the eye like I did).

For a lark, or a costume party, or to drive your grand kids crazy when they see you with them on. I use them when plowing snow on my tractor, these, along with a Mad bomber style hat,(you know, like the Russian hats with the big fur ear flaps) Your whole family will disown you. No one bother you the whole time your plowing, making the job much easier. I really like mine, great sun glasses for snow blindness, adjustable, inexpensive, fun,I'd buy another pair if anything ever were to happen to these. The look on peoples faces when they see you with these on is priceless.

This was bought as a costume piece. It arrived very quickly, in just a few business days, in adequate packaging. The goggles contain two set of lenses, a clear set and a shaded set, which can be easily removed and replaced. The only problem is that the bridgepiece (the part that connects the two halves just above the nose) consists of a string of metal beads (sorry, I'm not sure of the correct term) that thread through a hole on each side of the two halves, connecting them, and through the small black tube shown in the picture. This string does NOT hold. The goggles will sit on your face or head just fine, but the slightest stretching (for example, when you're pulling the goggles off or putting them on) will pull the metal beads out of the holes on the sides of the goggles, breaking the connection between the two halves. It requires needlenose pliers to fix and you have to take a lot of care when putting the goggles on and taking them off so as not to tug on the string of metal beads at all, otherwise the goggles will break again. As a costume piece that will only be worn a few times, it is a mild annoyance. If you were actually planning on using this for welding or any sort of work- or hobby-related activity, I would imagine that this would get old very fast.

This product works fine a little fogging of the lenses occurs in the winter if working outdoors or in a cold shop. ( I saying working since ravers who buy these for there stupid drug parties have no real purpose for them other than the probably are to sensitive to smoke, how ironic) but yes they work accetlyn or propane torches alike.

Average Rating:

Comfortable, easy to use, with #5 shaded lens for adequate protection when gas welding. Most often used for short-run, small jobs.

Barney Google & Snuffy Smith [VHS] Barney Google & Snuffy Smith [VHS]

Imperishable comic strip SNUFFY SMITH goes on and on. Originally the 1919 comic strip BARNEY GOOGLE, in 1934 traveling man Google ventured into hillbilly territory with the introduction Snuffy Smith and his wife Loweezy and the strip stayed there, though Google himself went bye in the late 1950's. SNUFFY SMITH (still called BARNEY GOOGLE in many newspapers despite his disappearance for decades) rarely counted as one of the legendary comic strips but it has survived and flourished to a degree acccomplished by only a small handful of other comic strips and has outlasted every other hillbilly humor venture from the strip LIL ABNER to the movies MA & PA KETTLE to television's BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and is still going strong. SNUFFY however hasn't had as much luck as most successful comic strips in spinning off in to new areas. A couple of "B" movie comedies based on the series were released in the 1940's and in 1963 fifty six-minute cartoons were produced based on the strip. Seldom seen since, eleven of those cartoons are collected for this extremely rare VHS, produced in the last years of the format's flourishing and before DVD. These cartoons are very successful at capturing the look of a comic strip which bright colors and limited backgrounds. Surprisingly, Barney Google (already gone from the strips) is in nearly every cartoon in a pivotal part but most of the cartoons center around Snuffy and Weezy. Apparently the Smith's baby Tater and their nephew Jughaid were not yet in the strip as they are not seen in the cartoons, nor is Loweezy's gossipy pal Elvirney. Although nowhere near as funny as the comic strip when it's at it's best, these cartoons are enjoyable and worth seeking out for fans of the strip and cartoon buffs and are very much of their era with topical references as trips to the moon, beatniks, "inventions of the future", and the like. Warren Miller: Children Of Winter Warren Miller: Children Of Winter

Great video, classic Warren Miller. Awesome Blue Ray quality and theater sound makes this a must have for skiers and snowboarders. I have seen most of Warren Miller films and this one is very unique with the stories and adventures. Highly recommended.

The joy of all earlier Warren Miller movies was the crusty commentary by Miller. He doesn't do it any more and in its place is a banal, high volume thumping music and stupid commentary. I would advise missing this movie.

As another reviewer says, Warren Miller is no longer involved in Warren Miller movies and it shows. One things you could always count on in Warren Miller films was lots and lots of great skiing action. In this one, most segments feature more talking than actual skiing! It's unfortunate because what skiing they do show looks absolutely jaw dropping in HD.

My husband and I are huge fans of the Warren Miller films. When Johnny Mosley started to narrate in previous films we were like this sucks. He gets better and better every film. Although we do miss Warren so so much. Great film as always. I am from NH and ski at Okemo a lot as my season pass is good there, I really hate how they make it look like the Wobbly Barn (where the band does their gig) is at Okemo, it is really at Killington. The skit with Jason Biggs was drawn out and cheesy. I love the ski joring part, so awesome! Can't wait to see what next years film will be. Enjoy!

It is sad that this title was sold by his kid to a company that doesn't really get it. They probably didn't like the production costs and they certainly don't have the sense of humor. I'm sorry that this is one of the few of this series in Blu-Ray, because it does not live up to expectations. The key year is 2004, before that Warren Miller was the man in charge, now it is "Time, Inc" and you might just as well buy any other skiing movie. I was disappointed in the film, it lacks the life of the Miller films, that made me go and search the net to see why it has all gone wrong. Save your money and hope they re-issue the old movies.

Another excellent offering from TGR. Lots of deep pow, gnarly lines and huge hucks. Definitely worth a watch.

This video is tremendous. I bought it on iTunes but after watching it I totally had to have it on dvd as well. The soundtrack is stellar & the footage was great. Best thing is that it mostly shows skiing action, whereas the last few years of Warren Miller films follow the same formula every time (here's guys making lines off a peak... next here's snowboarders riding rails in a parking lot at night & slamming their face on concrete). Besides the predictability, Miller films of late go easy on the action & instead just talk you to death. Warning: this video is ALL skiing & no snowboarding.

Dewalt DPG82-11C Concealer Clear Anti-Fog Dual Mold Safety Goggle Dewalt DPG82-11C Concealer Clear Anti-Fog Dual Mold Safety Goggle

These are the best safety glasses/goggles I've yet owned. I got them for mowing, weed-wacking, and yard work in general, with the idea that they'd help keep the dust out of my eyes, which they do very well. Very wide, unobstructed field of view, very comfortable to wear for hours on end. The product description doesn't mention it, but they fit comfortably over my glasses. They might not fit over *any* glasses, but mine are average sized, so unless you wear the Buddy Holly-style horn rimmed glasses, or big aviators, you'll probably be fine. Don't forget to pick up a pair of this item's tinted brother: Dewalt DPG82-21C Concealer Smoke Anti-Fog Dual Mold Safety Goggle

There is nothing anti-fog about these goggles. They will leave an impression on your forehead for hours after use that makes you look like you are angry... They also did not seal well below my eyes. I could see daylight through the seal. I recommend trying a different pair. I would like to have that $13 back.

i have a job which requires eye protection now and again, mostly for preventing airborne dust from getting in my eyes. for this need ive been using an old pair of ski goggles for the past couple of years. the ski goggles work great but are a little silly looking for my needs and nearing the end of their life. i thought to myself "these dewalt ones look much more compact than big 'ole ski goggles and thats just what i want." alas now that i have them here, be forewarned that these ARE ski goggles..just without the foam insulation. theyre huge. twice as big as what i thought i was in store for. i cant really fault the item for this, but just be forewarned if you were hoping for something along the lines of motorcycle goggles, these aint it. from my perspective, a quick glance of the product picture fooled me into thinking they had two lenses, not the single ski goggle lens before me. a better picture should be provided, tick a star off for that. and knock two additional stars off because with a rubber seal instead of a foam one, unless you have the perfect dewalt shaped face, there ARE gaps when i wear these. with dust as my enemy, gaps around the nose are a disappointment. also the thin plastic strap clips look very easy to break. the search continues

These goggles are fantastic for the price. They are the most comfortable safety glasses I have ever worn. They have a nice suction to your face as well to keep out dust particles and stuff. They are very lightweight. Fit my head perfectly and are crystal clear.

I use to own a pair of simple Dewalt goggles which I lost Dewalt DPG54-1C. I just got these and I put them on they fit really nicely on my face and felt comfortable and sealed snuggly. I don't wear prescription of any kind so that is not an issue for me in this review. They provide no distortion at all when viewing out of them which I was surprised at. One thing I like is because it's a single viewpiece with no middle divider I would forget I was even wearing it because of the unobstructed and clear view. Also it says UV 99.9% protection on the box something I did not see on the description when I ordered it but it's a nice feature. After using these for a week I have to lower to 4 stars reason is it does dig into the skin epidermis and dermis and leaves a mark on the face and I don't like that, perhaps after a long time it will soften up but right now that is unknown.

Sure they protect your eyes, but I wouldn't even think of these for daily use as they fog up and the glass(plastic?) gets scratched way to easily... Make them frustrating to use when at the range.

The product was fine. If you mess around with them the front comes out but easily pops back in. Good for the price... even though the shipping kills you.

I have tried other products over my past 40 years of wearing spectacles. Croakies are the very best. On other brands, the first thing to go is the part that grips the "ear" part of your spectacles. Croakies last longer than any other.

I leave my glasses behind everywhere so I need to have them on one of these. It fits securely over the frame and is really comfortable to wear. Best insurance for you expensive sun glasses.

The product I needed at a price I can afford delivered in a timely and convenient manner.

I wear semi-expensive sunglasses, I had a habit of losing them and the Croakies solved that problem. This product attaches to the handles with a snug fit. You may have a problem attaching these to sunglasses with a really thick handle, but I have always been able to eventually work the neoprene over every sunglasses handle I have owned. I wear them daily and they seem to last at least three years before they start to fray.
